Get Your Team Executing Again with Fractional HR
The best leaders know their people are their strategy.
The ones who succeed aren’t short on ideas — they’re short on execution.
Simply put, we help leaders of small and medium-sized organizations go from stalled to strategic by solving the people, performance, and cultural issues holding your organization back.
We are your Fractional HR partner for leaders and executives who need someone to solve these issues and initiatives, but are not ready for a full-time hire. We own and execute them end-to-end, from idea to implementation to adoption. By integrating strategic HR expertise, business acumen, and targeted executive coaching, we transform operational friction and lagging performance into focused, strategic execution.

FROM STALLED TO STRATEGIC
Leaders come to me when something important is on the line — and there is no one to own it.
Your team is performing, but you are hitting a ceiling.
You are hitting your numbers, but it can be a real struggle, and you can’t scale past it.
Your HR resources lack the skills, bandwidth, or both to own and fix it.
You know what needs to happen. You just have no one to own it.
Every people or performance issue arrives wearing a convenient label — a disengaged team, a difficult hire, a leader who needs to elevate their focus to realize their full potential.
The label is rarely the problem. Beneath almost every people issue is a business one: a strategy that was never made concrete, incentives pulling in different directions, a structure the company has quietly outgrown, or the hard conversation everyone has agreed not to have. Solve the symptom, and it returns; name the real problem, and it resolves.
These aren't HR problems. They're business problems.
HOW WE HELP:
End-to-End Operator
For initiatives with no clear owner, we step in as that owner from design through adoption.
Strategic HR Architecture
Building or evolving the people function: structure, performance metrics, and leadership pipelines.
Workshops, Facilitation, Training
Solidify the change so that you get a measurable return on investment
1:1 Coaching
For executives as a thought partner or 360-degree feedback. For staff to internalize change or meet performance goals.
Built With, Not For
We start by understanding the system, not just the people. That means listening closely to leaders and their teams, reading the dynamics behind the org chart, and, where needed, using structured tools such as 360-degree feedback, management style assessments, and other methods that raise awareness. The goal is to gain clarity on what is really holding the organization back and develop practical solutions.
We coach leaders to lead differently, reset expectations between people who need to work together, and rebuild the habits and accountability that make execution stick. Engagements run six to eighteen months because durable change in how people lead and work together doesn't happen in a workshop or an off-the-shelf framework.
RECENT CASE STUDIES:
Hi, I’m Lindsey.
Your Fractional HR Partner for leaders who need a true owner in their corner.
I solve people and performance initiatives that leaders know they need but have no one to own.
HOW I GOT HERE
Education: I was trained to see issues through both a business and a people lens.
COLUMBIA BUSINESS SCHOOL | INTERNATIONAL COACHING FEDERATION
Experience: I began my career on Wall Street. At Cambridge Associates, where I advised multi-million-dollar endowments and foundations, I learned that enduring organizations of all sizes rely on systems, not just on informal processes or personalities. Future experiences at the University of Houston and in executive recruiting and leadership roles in local organizations helped me implement and refine these ideas.
CAMBRIDGE ASSOCIATES | UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON | NYC, BOSTON, SAN FRANCISCO, HOUSTON
Inflection Point: After spending my 30’s in financial services, I decided to pursue my True North: helping people achieve their professional and business goals. I pivoted to executive and organizational coaching and received my ICF certification.
UT DALLAS | INTERNATIONAL COACHING FEDERATION
Today: I launched Lindsey Honari Advisors to support leaders who know what they need, but lack the internal resources to bring their vision to life. As a fractional HR partner, I’ve helped leaders across corporate, academic, nonprofit, and family offices move from stalled to strategic with clarity, structure, and the systems needed to support them. Additionally, I've worked with over 300 clients in one-on-one executive coaching.

What Sets Me Apart:
What I bring is simple: the expertise most organizations wish they had in-house and the partner most leaders wish they had by their side.
Most fractional HR providers are compliance- or advisory-only. Many charge more for implementation. I don’t.
I own the initiative from idea to implementation so you, as the leader, are free to focus on the strategic work only you can do.
Clients come to me when something important is at stake.
If that is true for you, let’s have a conversation.
TESTIMONIALS
Fractional HR
“For the first time, our people had a clear picture of what excellence looked like and how it would be recognized. Lindsey built that without touching what makes us who we are.”
“Coming from a large organization where dedicated HR business partners were at the table, I knew what was possible — and I knew what we were missing. Three years into leading this company, I had made real progress on the operational and financial side, but the people infrastructure hadn't kept pace.
Lindsey understood that immediately. She didn't arrive with a template or a one-size-fits-all solution. She took the time to understand who we are — a family-owned company with 70 years of history and a culture worth protecting — and built something that fit us.
The work she did gave our team a shared language, a fair and consistent standard, and the kind of clarity that lets people actually grow. We got the rigor we needed without losing what makes us who we are.“
Marcie Peters, President, United Salt Corporation“Lindsey helped our leadership team go from quietly frustrated to genuinely aligned. The standards we built together in one half-day session are still how we operate today.”
“When our team's leadership hit a stretch where the pressure to "do whatever it takes" for our clients was creating quiet friction instead of real teamwork, we brought Lindsey in to help us reset.
She met one-on-one with each of our senior leaders first, then brought the whole group together for a half-day offsite — and the shift was immediate. We walked out with a shared set of standards for how we communicate, cover for each other, and handle things when they go wrong, plus real commitments each person made to the team. Months later, those standards are still how we operate.
Lindsey has a gift for getting a high-performing, high-pressure team to trust each other enough to say what isn't working — and then build something better together.”
Director of Non-Investment Staff, $10 billion + Family Office“Our division had real talent, but COVID and a string of departures had left us fragmented — good people operating in silos, without the shared trust and language we needed to lead as one team.
Lindsey didn't come in with a canned program; she started by listening, spent real time understanding our history and our people, and only then built a development plan around what we actually needed.
The assessments, the workshops, and the coaching all built on one another, and each was grounded in our reality, not in generic best practices.”
“Nine months later, my leadership team has a common vocabulary, a clearer sense of how each of them shows up as a leader, and a level of trust that's already changing how we operate day to day.
I'd recommend Lindsey to any leader who needs more than training and who needs a real partner in building the team behind the strategy.”

Executive Coaching
Jennifer, a C-level executive for a high-visibiilty nonprofit, came to coaching feeling stuck and weighed down by absorbing responsibilities beyond her core role.
Through coaching at the personal, relational, and structural levels, J. learned to manage her reactivity, navigate her dynamic with a challenging CEO, and advocate for herself and for additional headcount.
Within months, she transitioned from avoidance to 'clarity conversations' and traded a reflexive 'yes' for 'not yet,' successfully delegating work and helping the leadership team build a more durable structure.
“One of the greatest gifts of working with Lindsey wasn't just getting unstuck – it was learning how to make decisions that are grounded in my values instead of driven by obligation.
She helped me build a practical toolkit for navigating difficult situations, pausing before reacting, and asking whether my choices reflected who I wanted to be rather than what I felt I had to do.
Those practices have made me a more intentional leader and a more present, authentic person, and I know they'll continue to serve me for years to come.“
Jennifer Leone, CPA"I had built a reputation as the person who could solve other people's problems — but not as someone with a vision of my own. That perception became a spiral: I stopped pushing my own ideas forward because I assumed they wouldn't land, which just reinforced the role I was trying to get out of.
Working with Lindsey gave me the confidence to finally have the conversations with firm leadership I'd been avoiding — and to push my own ideas forward instead of waiting to be handed someone else's.”
"That work led me to lead a major firm-wide project, which went well enough that I was promoted to Managing Director. What I needed wasn't a different perspective — it was someone to give me the push to take a chance on myself and break out of the way people had come to see me."

From Isolated to High-Impact
Chris originally approached Lindsey for help on a high-stakes presentation. Before working with Lindsey, Chris operated as a "lone wolf" navigating high-stakes professional challenges in isolation. Coaching provided a trusted sounding board to pressure-test decisions, unlocking clearer strategic thinking, stronger leadership confidence, and highly polished communication. He developed a deeper understanding of the psychology behind workplace dynamics — what others want, what I want, and how to bridge the two. Driven by Lindsey's deep industry experience and intuitive guidance, Chris now sees challenges as solvable puzzles rather than obstacles.
"Having a space to speak openly, think strategically, and brainstorm without judgment boosted my confidence, sharpened my awareness, and reignited my excitement about tackling challenges. Lindsey is an exceptional listener with an uncanny ability to pinpoint what’s really going on beneath the surface. She draws from deep professional experience — she’s been there, done it, and mastered it — and it shows in every conversation."
